The City of Bellingham is the most northerly US city and located on Interstate 5, the primary highway along the west coast, 80 miles north of Seattle, 21 miles south of the US –Canada border and 52 miles south of Vancouver.
The City serves as the County seat of Whatcom County which has a Population of some 200,000 people.
The City benefits its own international airport and two train stations providing regular services to both Seattle and Vancouver. It also has a major Port infrastructure serving both passenger and freight services.
The area is home 5 higher education Institutions the largest being Western Washington University and a student population in excess of 22,000 per annum.
